FORT WORTH, TX – Under the direction of Gabi Galloway, Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TCA+A) is excited to announce the opening of its fourth after-school conservatory, the Texas Theatre Conservatory. In its first year, classes will provide any student in the community in grades 6-12 the opportunity to explore their creative side through Theatre and Acting classes.
We are thrilled to grow our presence in the vibrant Fort Worth Theatre community. Theatre education and performance experience can be a great way for students to learn valuable skills that they can use in their future. It helps build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and creativity. It also provides an opportunity for students to express themselves in a safe environment while learning about the world around them. Our students will explore different characters and stories to help them better understand the complexities of the human experience. Performance experience gives students a chance to apply their knowledge in a practical setting and collaborate as part of a cast or crew. Working together on projects teaches students how to build relationships and solve problems together, regardless of background. This is an invaluable skill that will serve them well throughout their lives no matter what career path they choose.
Our courses are taught by experienced industry professionals who have a passion for the craft and an eye for detail. We believe that by providing our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen field, we can help them reach their full potential as actors, playwrights, designers, and more. We know that our students represent the future of Theatre, and we are excited to provide them with an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business!
All TCA+A conservatories provide a safe and creative space where young people can explore their talents and develop their skills in the performing arts. Since 2014, when we first opened the Texas Dance Conservatory, we have been building off our dedication to teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students in the arts. We pride ourselves on offering an inclusive program that encourages all students to come together and share their love of Theatre. We provide a safe, supportive environment where your children can express themselves, make new friends, and gain valuable skills that will help them succeed in life.
