How To Apply

APPLY NOW FOR 2021-2022!

We are currently accepting applications and scheduling auditions for the following grades:
Texas School of the Arts – Grades K-5 (applications will close for each grade level as open spots are filled)

Please follow the application process below to schedule an audition. Auditions will be conducted in an online format.

  1. Download your application.
  2. Return completed application by (CHOSE ONE – whichever method works best for you):

The Admission Process


Explore the Process

We are so excited you want to audition for TeSA! It’s never too early to start preparing. The first step is getting familiar with the application process. Explore the following documents and remember to contact us if you have any questions. These documents are for reference only and may change from year to year.


Apply for Admission

Students from accepted ISDs (see below) may start the admission process by Completing an Application and auditioning. TeSA accepts new students at every grade level, starting in Kindergarten.


Audition to Join Us

Students in grades K-5 audition in all fine arts: Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts.

Auditions for the 21-22 school year will take place entirely online. Applicants will be scored on the provided rubric. Students must meet a minimum required score for acceptance. Those who receive adequate scores will either be offered admittance to TeSA or be placed on the waitlist until a spot becomes available.

Students will not receive copies of rubrics or be given access to their audition scores.
