The Application Process

Explore the Process

It’s never too early to start preparing. The first step is getting familiar with the application process. Explore the following documents and remember to contact us if you have any questions. These documents are for reference only and may change from year to year.

Apply for Admission

Students from accepted ISDs (see below) may below the admission process by completing an application and auditioning. TeSA accepts new students at every grade level starting in Kindergarten.

Our acceptance rates vary by grade level dependent upon number of available spots, as we are committed to keeping smaller class sizes.

Audition to Join Us

Students in grades K-2 audition in all fine arts: choir, dance, theater, and visual arts. Students in grades 3-6 must choose one of these artistic areas in which to audition with an option to also audition in a second area.

All auditions will currently take place online. Applicants will be scored on a rubric for their chosen artistic disciplines. Students must meet a minimum required score for acceptance. Those whom receive passing scores will either be admitted to TeSA or placed on the waitlist until an additional spot becomes available.

Students will not receive a copy of completed rubric or score.
